This five day course leads to the ISTQB Advanced Test Manager Certification.

The course focuses on testing topics including testing processes, risk management, test planning and control, reporting, resourcing, communication, team development, test process improvement, defect classification and tool support. Candidates will be given exercises, practice exams and learning aids for the ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification. We suggest that attendees hold the ISTQB Foundation Level certificate, especially if they intend to take the ISTQB exam, but non-certificate holders can also benefit from this course.

By the end of this course, an attendee should be able to:

Implement the mission, goals and testing processes established for the testing organization.
Organize and lead risk management activities and use risks to drive test planning and reporting.
Create and implement test plans consistent with organizational policies and test strategies.
Continuously monitor and control the test activities to achieve project objectives.
Assess and report relevant and timely test status.

This course prepares you for the ISTQB Advanced Test Manager exam. You have the option to add the ISTQB exam for $249 when registering for class. Passing the exam will grant you an ISTQB CTAL-TM certification. Extended time requests should be made 2 weeks prior to class start for non-native English speakers.

For participants attending class remotely (Virtual Live), the exam can be scheduled online from home/office or by visiting a test center. Visit ISTQB Online Exam Information and Locate a Test Center for details.
For participants attending class in Chevy Chase, MD, the exam will be administered on last day of class, ending by 5pm, so please plan your travel accordingly.
