This newly updated course leads to the ISTQB Advanced Test Management Certification.
The course focuses on testing topics including testing processes, risk management, test planning and control, reporting, resourcing, communication, team development, test process improvement, defect classification and tool support. Candidates will be given exercises, practice exams and learning aids for the ISTQB Advanced Test Management certification. We suggest that attendees hold the ISTQB Foundation Level certificate, especially if they intend to take the ISTQB exam, but non-certificate holders can also benefit from this course.
By the end of this course, an attendee should be able to: - Manage testing in various software development projects by applying test management processes established for the project team or test organization
- Identify test stakeholders and software development lifecycle models that are relevant in a given context

This course prepares you for the ISTQB Advanced Test Management exam.
You have the option to add the ISTQB exam for $249 when registering for class. Passing the exam will grant you an ISTQB CTAL-TM certification. Extended time requests should be made 2 weeks prior to class start for non-native English speakers.

- For participants attending class in Chevy Chase, MD, the exam will be administered on last day of class, ending by 5pm, so please plan your travel accordingly.
